Horse and Farm Days

At Davis Acres Horse and Farm Days, children (6-year-olds and up, with some exceptions for 5-year-olds) will:

• Primarily take horseback riding lessons
• Learn basic from-the-ground horse care
• Interact with other farm animals (our kids love collecting chicken eggs!)
• Experience key aspects of farm life, like working in the vegetable garden and with the fruit trees
• Do arts-and-crafts (add painted stones to our garden wall!)
• Be responsible for minimal barn chores to develop a sense of independence, responsibility, and belonging in a farm setting
• Have fun under the sun, with animals, in nature!

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm (full days) or 9:00am - 12:00pm (half days)
• Personalized schedules can be arranged directly with Kim

Rates (starting May 1st, 2022): 

• $115 per full day per child
• $85 per half day per child
• $530 per full-day week per child
• $405 per half-day week per child

Early drop off and late pick up available:

• Early drop off: $10 each half hour before 9am for the 1st child, $5 each half hour for additional sibling/s
• Late pick up: $10 each half hour after 3 pm for the 1st child, $5 each half hour for additional sibling/s

**$20 deposit for full or half days, and $100 deposit for full or half day weeks, is due upon reservation. Balance is due 10 days before reservation. If you need to cancel, please do so 24 hours in advance of your Horse and Farm Day. If you cancel within 24 hours, we cannot reimburse your missed Horse and Farm Day.**
